The Center for Cancer Support & Education always attempts to increase the organizations visiblity in the community as well as provide some fun in its fundraising events. Our current events are listed below. Links to downable pages with additional information are provided to the right.

Winter Friends Breakfast - Saturday, January 21, 9:30-11:30am
Join us for a complimentary continental breakfast and an opportunity to share your thoughts on what we have done and what we could do. Held at the conference room of the Cambridge Savings Bank, 1300 Mass Ave, Arlington Heights. Enter from rear door in parking lot.
Shoot for the Cure 2012 - Saturday, March 10, 2012, 1:00 - 9:00pm
Arlington's annual women's hockey tournament to raise funds for the Center and other local charities. Stop on by from some hockey action, to purchase raffle tickets, and support the teams.
Emerson Hospital Wellness Day - Saturday, May 5, 2012, time t/b/a
We will reach out to patients of Emerson Hospital with a table at their annual health and wellness day on Saturday May 5. Volunteers are needed to help staff a table and distribute literature.
Annual Reach for the Stars Dinner Dance - Saturday, May 12, 2012
Join us for appetizers, buffet dinner, and deserts, Cash bar, dj for dancing, silent auction, and raffles. An evening of fun! Tickets will go on sale in January. $35 per person.
Second Annual Online Auction - Saturday, July 14 - Sunday, August 5, 2012
After last year’s success, The Center will have an online auction again this summer to raise funds. Donations of items are needed – best sellers are event tickets, hand crafts, restaurant and store gift cards – as well as other items such as collectibles, gift baskets, etc.
Town Day in Arlington - September t/b/a, 2012, 10am - 3:00 pm
Once again we will, we will have a table at Arlington’s Town Day with raffle prizes and outreach materials. This annual festival includes music, raffles, and food. Volunteers are needed to staff the table and sell raffle tickets.
Bowlathon in November
Its time to practice your bowling skills! Our annual Bowlathon will take place in mid October. If you haven’t been to it, come join us for an evening of fun. Its part fundraiser, part costume party, and part bowling night. An all ages event. Free pizza and sodas for participants. Raffles and prizes for fundraising efforts and bowling skills. We are seeking volunteers to help run the event as well as teams of bowlers to help fundraise and participate.
