Our Friends Committee 

Hearty Thanks To Our Friends Committee! These are the people who help us reach out into the community. We hold an annual Friends Breakfast in May/June each year to thank our friends and keep them up to date on what is expected during the coming year. Anyone is welcome to attend the breakfast and learn more about the Center.

Please consider becoming a Friend of the Center yourself!

Why would you want to become a founding member of the Friends Committee?  Perhaps you understand how frightening and stressful a cancer diagnosis can be. Perhaps you or someone you love was helped by the Center and you want to make sure that it continues to be here for others touched by cancer. Perhaps you understand what a challenge it will be for a small, local organization to continue to function in this tightening economy.

Please consider becoming a member of the Friends' committee today!

All Friends of the Center will receive a membership certificate. Membership entitles the holder to:

• Receive public recognition on the CCSE website, annually in the Center newsletter and at special appreciation events
• Exclusive invitations to special appreciation events and posted acknowledgment at the event
• Quarterly newsletter
• Invitations to all CCSE events
• Entry in a quarterly raffle for a free wellness session of the winners choice: Reiki, polarity balancing, RYSE, expressive arts, relaxation exercise or acupuncture
• Lifetime and Prrmium members receive a coupon for the wellness service of their choice.
• Premium members also receive extra recognition at CCSE events.

The Center for Cancer Support & Education is in its tenth year of providing cancer support services. CCSE is a grass roots organization and we have always depended on the financial support of our friends in the community.

The goal of the Friends Committee is to create a strong foundation in which the Center for Cancer Support & Education can continue to engage concerned individuals, families and organizations in the process of the development of this community based cancer support center by involving them in efforts to:

• keep activities relevant to the needs of the community
• stabilize the financial base
• expand community connections and representation
• expand the referral network
